Vivienne Powell (Louisa McCrae)

Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Vivienne holds a Master of Creative Arts (in classical/opera singing) from the University of Newcastle, Australia. She has studied acting at NIDA, Sydney, the Howard Fine Acting Studio and the Ted Brunetti Studio in Los Angeles, Improv with Bill Applebaum of the Actors Improv Studio, Los Angeles, and Alexander Technique/Animal Studies with Jean-Louis Rodrigue, Los Angeles.

Vivienne’s background in the performing arts is diverse, having been an opera singer (Opera Australia, Pacific Opera), concert artist (Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Beethoven Societies of Australia & Japan, Symphony of Australia), cabaret performer (solo show Sentimental Journey, Seymour Centre, Sydney), musical theatre performer (Sydney Gilbert & Sullivan Society, Savoy Arts Company), as well actress in television and film (Ugly Benny, Beautiful Destroyer, Khali the Killer).

 Vivienne can be seen in the role of Bertie’s Mom in Seasons 1 and 3 of Judd Apatow’s Love on Netflix, the sultry Lilian Fleet in season 8 of Shameless, and in 2023 as Old Rhonda in The Last Anniversary, starring Nicole Kidman and Miranda Richardson.

In 2016 Vivienne played the role of Susan in Ruben Guthrie, for the Australian Theatre Company in Los Angeles. For her work in Ruben Guthrie Vivienne received a Broadway World nomination.  Other theatre credits include Bridget in Bridget and Iain for Short and Sweet, Hollywood, Hope in Almost, Maine for Between the Buildings, Melbourne and Linda in the world premiere of You Are the Blood, for Spinning Plates, Melbourne.

Vivienne played the lead in the award winning short film, Song From A Blackbird, which screened in the Cannes Film Festival in 2014. Other international film credits are the lead role in Bridget and Iain and Le Miroir, in which Vivienne played the role of the enigmatic Hungarian opera singer, Madame B. The film won numerous international awards, and Vivienne was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in the New York/Long Island Film festival in 2020.

The culmination of Vivienne’s lifetime of work in the performing arts is her solo theatre play, DIVA, which made its world premiere to huge acclaim, at the Zephyr Theatre in Los Angeles in November 2024.

Eden Shifroni (Singing voice of Lizzy)

Soprano Eden Shifroni holds a Bachelor of Music (Classical Performance) and a Master of Music Studies (Opera Performance) from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Her stage roles have included Pamina (The Magic Flute) at the Vienna Summer Music Festival, Musetta (La bohème) and Suor Genovieffa (Suor Angelica) at the Mediterranean Opera Festival in Sicily, as well as Poppea in the Sydney Conservatorium and NIDA production of The Coronation of Poppea. This was the Australian premiere of Elena Kats-Chernin’s re-orchestration of Monteverdi’s work. At the Sydney Conservatorium, Eden also performed in scenes as Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro), Sophie (Der Rosenkavalier) and Yum-Yum (The Mikado) with the Sydney University Symphony Orchestra.

Her repertoire extends from Baroque to new music. In 2022, Eden created the role of Ada Crossley in the opera Percy by Australians John Matthews and Margery Smith and, in December 2023, she created the role of Jess in Track Works - a new site-specific pastiche opera at Sydney’s Mortuary Station. Theatre Now wrote: “The operatic voices soar in this vaulted space. None more so than Eden Shifroni’s crystal clear soprano…”. Concert appearances include those with Willoughby Symphony Orchestra (Vaughan-Williams’ Benedicite) and North Sydney Symphony Orchestra (Eric Zeisl’s Requiem Ebraico).

Eden is the recipient of the Dame Nellie Melba Scholarship, Patrick & Vivian Gordon Award and Ryman Healthcare Opera Scholarship with Melba Opera Trust. In 2024, Eden won Australia’s most prestigious singing competition, the IFAC Handa Australian Singing Competition, taking away the Marianne Mathy Scholarship. In the same year she also received the JSRB Foundation Award at the Joan Sutherland and Richard Bonynge Bel Canto Award Finals. In 2021, her love and passion for art song was recognised in the Demant Dreikurs Scholarship Song Competition - where she was awarded the audience prize and named overall winner. Yannick Lawry (Singing voice of Jean, voice of Policeman)

Yannick trained as an actor at ArtsEd, London and currently lives in Sydney, Australia where he works as a bilingual (English/French) actor, voiceover artist and counsellor.

Yannick is the co-founder of Australian independent theatre company Clock and Spiel Productions where his stage credits include a national tour as Screwtape in The Screwtape Letters by CS Lewis, Lewis in Freud's Last Session by Mark St Germain, and Dr Kelekian in Wit by Margaret Edson. Recent TV credits include Artful Dodger (Disney, 2023), Limitless (Disney, 2022) and Paper Dolls (Paramount, 2023). Film credits include 2022 feature, Get Free, 2018 feature Trust, and the award-winning short film, The Malicious.  As a voiceover artist, Yannick runs his recording studio - Studio Under The Stairs - in Sydney where he mentors emerging voice artists and at which he records his own work including commercials, documentaries such as the award-winning Hell on Earth series and major audiobook titles such as Sincerely, Me and The Bookshop Detectives.

Christine Greenough (Voice of Nurse)

Christine is an Actor/Director/Producer with over 50 years experience in theatre film and TV. She has studied at Maggie Haber studios and with Howard Fine in LA and Australia. Asa professional stand-up storyteller, Christine has told to children and adults throughout Australia, Asia and US. Recently she performed her one woman show “Who’s Up Next” at the Sydney Fringe Festival. Christine loves all genres of story and has performed/told in all venues from pubs to main stage.

Leon Josling (Voice of Julien)

Leon is a fourth generation actor and has a talent for art, accents and music. He is studying voice over technique and commenced singing classes this year. He and his mother recently traveled to France, staying with a French family and learning about French cuisine and culture. In 2018, he won an art competition for his unique canvas of a returned serviceman. In 2023, he was a finalist in a film competition with his short documentary film, Wonderous Felines, which he wrote and narrated. He has appeared in a number of screen productions alongside his mother, including the films; Distance to Now, Art Ache and the award winning short film 6ate7.

Leon has enjoyed portraying the role of Julien.

Cerris Morgan-Moyer (Voice of Lizzy)

Cerris Morgan-Moyer was born in Cornwall (UK), trained at Central School of Speech and Drama in London, and has since enjoyed a career on stage, screen and radio in Los Angeles and internationally as a dual national playing UK, US and French roles.

Tina Kobas (Voice of Mum)

Born in Australia to first generation Greek parents, Tina is heavily inspired by mythology and ancient Greek Theatre. Her first leading role was in her high school play, playing Dracula’s mother in “Dracula Spectacular”. 

She has performed in numerous plays in Australia and New York City, and recently starred in Australian Theatre Company's production of "Speaking in Tongues" at The Matrix Theatre, Los Angeles. (Winner of outstanding performance in a lead role - Stage Scene LA).

Her film credits include, "There's Something about Lizzy", "Caravaggio and my Mother the Pope", "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3",  "To Gamillio Party" which topped the box office in Greece. 

Lee Shorten (Voice of Professor Blakely)

Lee Shorten is a multidisciplinary Asian Australian actor best known for playing Sgt Yoshida on Amazon Studio's The Man in the High Castle and Kazumasa Sakai in Ghost of Tsushima. Lee was nominated for a Jessie Award for Best Supporting for his turn as Jung in Pacific Theatre's run of Kim's Convenience. Lee graduated from Law School (University of Newcastle) in 2009 and worked as a lawyer for several years before he decided to pursue a career in the arts. 

Earl T. Kim (Voice of Dale Reiseman)

Earl T. Kim is an international actor, theatre-creator, filmmaker, voiceover artist, and performer currently based in Los Angeles, California.  His work has been seen on stages in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland, Japan, South Korea, Russia, the United Kingdom, and throughout the US.  He holds an MFA in Acting from East 15 Acting School in London, and a BFA in Contemporary Performance from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado.
