DIVA was AMAZING! Really makes me think of my own parents…and our legacy and what we leave behind as we get older. Vivienne Powell is a force of nature in this. I really liked how it came together in the end and we could hear the real versions of all her acquaintances. This play painted such a lovely portrait of the magnificence and fleeting nature of life. Louisa, suitcase open, standing alone in the pitch black with only a light above her—was the most haunting and beautiful image I’ll remember forever! 100% recommend!

I loved the play! Vivienne took us in her memory trip with art, emotion, subtlety, intensity, and with her extraordinary voice. Singing the second voice in the Flower Duet from Delibes transported us. Her expressions, going from one character to another so smoothly, with an economy of tools, excellent light nuances-the lights were like a character in the play-, just a few objects, her voice her talent as a singer and an actress. I was in tears, I felt the sadness, the joy, the love, the losses and the cruelty of the isolation brought by a flitting memory. I hope this play can be seen again, it deserves to be shown more widely, even internationally. BRAVO again.

An incredible tour de force by the extremely talented Vivienne Powell. From her glorious operatic vocals to her incredible physical embodiment of characters ranging in age, sex, accent, and language, Vivienne takes us on an authentically raw journey of love, hope, and heartbreak. In an era where everyone is touched by dementia in some way, it's a reminder of how the heart never forgets. Highly recommend!

I felt transported, curious, saddened. It made me think about the tough and unpredictable path of artists -- and aging. Yes, I would recommend!

This production beautifully portrays the experience of memory-visiting and memory-loss, with an intuitive, delicate touch. Besides reminding me of my own experience of loved ones losing their sense of their history, the narrative showcases some of the relateable choices and sacrifices a woman in the creative arts inevitably faces. Simply and so effectively navigated on stage, supported by the undeniable skill of Vivienne Powell and the gentle touch of Leah Patterson. It's important, moving and inspiring to see Vivienne in the prime of her skills, a woman in an era of her life so often forgotten in the "industry", playing her instrument to the fullest degree of excellence. Brava!
